Wick Trimmer
Brass Wick Trimmer
Keep your candles burning beautifully with our classic Brass Wick Trimmer. Designed to make candle care simple and mess-free, this elegant tool makes it easy to maintain the ideal wick length for a clean, even burn and a beautifully fragrant melt pool.
The long, angled design allows you to reach wicks in even the deepest vessels, while the built-in catch cup collects trimmed wick pieces so they don't fall into your candle. Crafted in a timeless brass finish, it's a functional candle accessory that looks beautiful displayed alongside your favorite candles.
Pair it with your favorite Bright Endeavors candle for the perfect candle-care ritual.
How to Use Your Wick Trimmer
-
Before your candle's very first burn, make sure the wick is trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm). Even a brand-new candle should be trimmed before lighting.
-
Allow the candle to cool completely before trimming the wick between burns.
-
Position the wick trimmer over the wick, keeping the cutting edge parallel to the surface of the wax.
-
Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm). This is the ideal length for helping your candle burn evenly and supporting a consistent, fragrant melt pool.
-
Remove the trimmed wick from the catch cup and discard it.
-
Light your candle and enjoy!
-
Repeat this process before every subsequent burn, always trimming the wick after the candle has completely cooled.
Why Trim Your Wick?
A properly trimmed wick helps promote a steady flame, reduces soot and excess smoke, and helps prevent the flame from becoming too large. Keeping the wick at approximately 1/4 inch also helps your candle create an even melt pool, allowing the fragrance to disperse beautifully throughout your space.
For best results, trim your wick to 1/4 inch before the first burn and before every burn thereafter. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
